                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR
                   OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS TO EXECUTE
                   A CONTRACT WITH THE TREASURY DEPARTMENT OF
                   THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, WHICH PROVIDES FOR
                   THE CITY TO DEPOSIT ITS PRO RATA SHARE OF
                   THE ESTIMATED COST OF THE SHALLOWFORD ROAD
                   WIDENING AND RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT FROM
                   STATE ROUTE 153 TO LEE HIGHWAY, PROJECT NO.

       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, that the Administrator of the Department
       of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to execute a Contract 

       with the Treasury Department of the State of Tennessee, which
       provides for the City to deposit its pro rata share of the
       estimated cost of the Shallowford Road Widening and 
Reconstruction
       Project from State Route 153 to Lee Highway, Project No.
       STP-3556(4).
